Superb tour in the high mountains

From Mayrhofen we cycle towards the Stilluptal. This corner is a paradise with waterfalls, high mountains and green meadows.
We cycle 17 kilometers through the Stilluptal and leave the bike just after the Grüne Wand Hütte. At 1682 meters the ascent to the Kasselerhütte begins.
After just under 500 meters of climbing, we enter a beautiful world of rock, stone, glaciers and streams.

The Kasselerhütte is located on the route of the Berliner Höhenweg. A multi-day hut-to-hut tour in the Zillertal Alps.

If there is still time left, we make ourselves comfortable in the hut or on the terrace. Maybe we can take a little walk near the hut.
This will certainly be an unforgettable day.

We meet at 09.00 at the toll booth in the direction of Stilluptal After a short discussion we set off.
This is going to be a day of extremes. The green meadows down in the valley and the glaciers near the Kasselerhütte.

What to take with you on the walking tour:

A backpack with enough drinks and food (breakfast)
Make sure you have good sunglasses, sunscreen and/or possibly a cap.
Be aware of the dangers in the mountains. Always bring a vest and rain gear so that you are prepared for different weather conditions.
Shoes with a firm tread and, preferably, a high shaft, are required for our hikes. If you like to walk with walking sticks, feel free to take them with you.
Don't forget to bring your charged camera, so you can capture the most beautiful views and places for the future!
