Hike with a view
From the village of Zell am Ziller we take a circular hike uphill towards the mountain station of the Zillertarena.
Through the green meadows we hike in a steep climb through the forest to the Gasthof Enzianhof. This guesthouse is located in a unique location with views of Mayrhofen, Gerlosstein, Karwendel and the Reichenspitzgruppe.
The Gasthof has its own meat cellar and Schnapps brewery, which we will of course check out. Through the forest we walk on the other side of Gerlosberg back to Zell am Ziller.

We meet at 09.00 at the ticket office of the valley station (Rosenalmbahn Zillertalarena). After a short discussion, we hit the road.
Via a beautiful mountain road we first walk through the forest before we cross the meadows. Soon we get higher and we see the first views.

What to take with you on the walking tour:
- A backpack with enough drinks and food (breakfast)
- Make sure you have good sunglasses, sunscreen and/or possibly a cap.
- Be aware of the dangers in the mountains. Always bring a vest and rain gear so that you are prepared for different weather conditions.
- Shoes with a firm tread and, preferably, a high shaft, are required for our hikes. If you like to walk with walking sticks, feel free to take them with you.
- Don't forget to bring your charged camera, so you can capture the most beautiful views and places for the future!
