Difficulty of the hike

Here you can find more information about the difficulty level of this hike. If you have any questions about the level of difficulty or how to prepare, please feel free to contact us.

What should you keep in mind?

  • Dress in layers: Avoid dressing too warmly and wear several layers of clothing. This allows you to remove a layer when you get warm during the hike and put it back on when you get cold or take a break.
  • Bring enough water: Make sure you have enough to drink. In extremely cold weather, water bottles and hydration bladders can freeze.
  • Bring a warm drink: An insulated thermos flask filled with hot water or tea is ideal for a winter hike.
  • Pack enough food: Bring sufficient provisions, such as a packed lunch and a chocolate bar or another snack for the trail. Please note that we will not pass any mountain huts along the way.
  • Wear sturdy hiking boots: Wear sturdy, waterproof hiking boots with good grip. If you own gaiters, be sure to bring them along.
  • Don't forget your camera: Bring your camera or smartphone to capture the beautiful moments and stunning winter scenery!
